Mindfulness & Stress Reduction Classes
These classes are offered twice per year, a fall session, beginning mid-September, and a spring session beginning mid-March. These classes are 30 hours in length and span over 9 sessions. They are presently offered through NIH R &W.
A Mindful Day Retreat
This is a one day retreat starting at 9 am and ending at 3:30 pm. The day integrates various practices such as sitting mediation (sitting with the breath), Yoga, Body Scan, Mindful Walking, Mindful Eating, Silence, Contemplation, and Loving Kindness meditations. These retreats are offered on a Saturday once in April/May and once in October/Nov.
Deepening the Practice of Mindfulness Classes
These classes are offered on Thursdays in cycles of six sessions 7-9 pm for those familiar with and interested in deepening their practice of mindfulness.
